Abstract
Patient suffering from chronic kidney disease (CKD) have a higher risk of death compared to the normal population. Hyperphosphatemia and high calcium/phosphorus product independently associated to the mortality of ESRD patients on haemodialysis. This condition are also associated increase incidence of hyperthyroidism, cardiovascular organ calcification and etc. Several researchs reported that iron containing drugs, were able to act as phosphate binder, when given orally together with meals. In Indonesia, ferrous sulphate drug was used for the anemia treatment, relative cheap and widely available. We tried clinically to study wheather ferrous suphate tablets can act as phosphate binder.
To determine the role of oral ferrous sulphate in binding phosphate serum in patients on regular haemodialysis.
The study was conducted from April 2010 until October 2010. Participants were 34, selected on regular HD in haemodialysis unit, General Hospital Pirngadi Medan, aging > 18 years old. The phosphate serum level was examined before and after administration of 300 mg ferrous sulphate tablet or placebo during meals 3 times daily for 2 weeks. There after, active drugs and placebo were cross over and phosphate serum was reexamined after 2 weeks.
Phosphate serum did not decreased both after the administration of active drugs and placebo. After the cross over in both groups phosphate increased, but only in the group having ferrous sulphate previously should significance although had no clinical meaning correlation.
This small study did not should any effect 300 mg ferrous sulphate as phosphate binder. Further research are needed to this study, problem recurting more patients, increase in dosase and for longer period of administration.

Abstract
Cervical cancer is a malignancy growth inside the cervix. In Indonesia, the total number of cervical cancers cases is estimated to be 50 per 100,000 populations. Early detection of cervical cancers cases can be done through Pap smear or IVA methods. If the cases can be detected earlier, it will help the society from suffering and spending highly cost for the treatment. The research question was “how was the behavior of the people suffering from the disease (early detection) for those Lecturers for Politeknik Kesehatan Jakarta (Politekkes) in year 2010. The purpose for this research is to determinant factors which are related to the behavior of early detection of cervical cancers of lecturers from Politekkes Jakarta. The research design used cross sectional. The research sample were all the women lecturers who has been married more than 2 years and nor engage with continuing study of Politekkes Jakarta with number 150 persons. The data collection technique was done by using the questioners which given directly to the respondents. The data analysis is univariate, Chi-square test, and multivariate (simple logistic regression). The result from this research has found that the respondent of ≥ 35 year old have better (more positive) behavior rather than those of age ≤ 35 years. The research has also founded the lack of knowledge of respondents about early detection for cervix cancers. Meanwhile the family support said to have influenced on the behavior. On the contrary, there were no findings related to education, motivations, and access ability to health services. Researcher concluded that the dominant variable related to the behavior of early detection of cervical cancers is knowledge. To increase the knowledge about the cancers one needed the health education for early detection, the knowledge about the cancer and also the preventions.

Abstract
This research is conducted to investigate: The comparison between Students’ achievement in anatomy class with a higher media technology and that with a picture media, 2) Kynesthetics-styled students’ achievement is higher than visual-styled students, 3) the interaction between media users and their learning styles in affecting the students’ achievement in Anatomy class.
The research was held in Faculty of Medicine UISU Medan duting the 2010/2011 academic year. The population is the second semester students. The number of population is 243. The sampling technique of the research is Cluster Random Sampling by which the 45 IA class students are thought by the selected media and the 45 students of IB class are thought by by picture media. The instrument of the research are the students Anatomy class achievement and thier learning style test. Learning style test is done by using the Bobby De Porter model which classify students into Visual and Kynesthetics Learning style. The reasearch method is quasi experiment with 2×2 factorial design. The Data Analysis technique is two ways ANAVA with 5% (α = 0,05) level of significance. Data Normality Test by using F-test and Barlett test for homogeneity variances fas well as Scheffe test had been done previously.
The research finding shows that: (1) The Students’ achievement in anatomy class with a selected media technology is higher than that with a picture media The Fcount=9,81> Ftable = 3,96 , 2) Kynesthetics-styled students’ achievement is the same with visual-styled students’ achievement , Fcount = 0,889 < Ftable = 3,96 , 3) There is an interaction between media users and their learning styles in affecting the students’ achievement in Anatomy class, Fcount = 49,706 > Ftable = 3,96 at α = 0,05 % level of significance.
