Abstrak
Kompetensi adalah sebuah keharusan kalau organisasi ingin survive. Persoalan kompetensi sangat menentukan produk dan apa yang akan kita kerjakan kedepan. Begitu juga SDM dalam setiap organisasi harus berkompeten dalam setiap aspek kompetensi. Bagaimana mengembangkan SDM organisasi sehingga dapat berkompetensi perlu paradima baru.

Abstrak
Tidak bisa dipungkiri lagi manajemen SDM sangat mempunyai peran strategis dalam organisasi bisnis. Semua sektor manajemen, apakah keuangan, produksi, operasional, pemasaran tidak bisa lepas dari manajemen SDM. Asumsinya, yang menggerakkan itu semua adalah SDM, tanpa SDM yang handal dan bagus tidak mungkin organisasi bisnis bisa jalan. Bagaimana peran MSDM akan menjadi topik bahasan dalam studi literatur ini.

HUBUNGAN SET KESEMPATAN INVESTASI DENGAN
ASIMETRI INFORMASI DAN RETURN SAHAM

Abstrak
The objectives of this study is to empirically examine whether investment opportunity set (IOS) significantly associates with information asymmetry and stock return. Five variable are used as proxies of IOS: ratio of market to book assets, ratio of market to book equity, ratio of market to book fixed assets, ratio price to earning, and ratio of capital expenditure to book assets. The IOS is measured used to classify from into growth and no-growth firms. These variables are analized by common factor analysis. Based on 134 manufacturing firm listed in the Jakarta Stock Exchange. This study finds that growth firm have higher information asymmetry than no growth firm, proxied by bid-ask spread. Growth firm have lower stock return than no growth firm, proxied by return realization.

Abstrak
Salah satu tujuan dari otonomi adalah bagaimana membangun perekonomian yang mampu mengangkat harkat dan kualitas hidup masyarakat local. Iklim perekonomian lokal yang kondusif akan membuat masyarakat bisa sejahtera secara ekonomi. Maka dengan demikian tujuan otonomi daerah dapat tercapai dengan baik. Untuk itu tanggung jawab pemda yang paling besar adalah bagaimana mengembangkan kondusifitas di daerah agar investasi berjalan dengan baik.

Abstrak
Otonomi pendidikan adalah upaya bagaimana membangun masyarakat di daerah yang terdidik dan rasional. Dengan demikian, keberlangsungan otonomi daerah sangat tergantung pada kualitas SDM dan Pemerintahan daerah. Apabila masyarakat cerdas maka program kerja pemda dengan sendirinya akan berlangsung dan berjalan dengan baik. Masyarakat yang pintar akan melakukan kontrol pada pemerintahan yang kemudian bisa mempercepat proses pembangunan di daerah.

ELASTISITAS KESEMPATAN KERJA PADA BIDANG
SEKTORAL DI INDONESIA

Abstrak
Penelitian ini juga menganalisa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesempatan kerja di Indonesia dengan variabel bebasnya ialah pertumbuhan ekonomi, investasi, tingkat upah, dan inflasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa elastisitas kesempatan kerja yang relatif besar dan bersifat elastis adalah pada sektor pertambangan dan penggalian serta sektor keuangan, persewaan, dan jasa perusahaan. Sedangkan elastisitas kesempatan kerja yang relatif kecil dan bersifat inelastis adalah sektor pertanian dan sektor lainnya bersifat inelastis tetapi memiliki nilai elastisitas yang relatif lebih besar dari nilai elastisitas sektor pertanian. Dengan demikian, dari hasil regresi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesempatan kerja yang relatif adalah pada sektor pertambangan dan penggalian, kemudian sektor keuangan, persewaan, dan jasa perusahaan. Sedangkan sektor pertanian merupakan sektor yang memiliki tingkat kesempatan kerja yang relatif kecil dibandingkan dengan sektor-sektor lainnya. Sementara itu, pertumbuhan ekonomi (diproxy dengan PDB harga konstan) dan total investasi berpengaruh positif tetapi yang signifikan pengaruhnya secara statistik terhadap kesempatan kerja di Indonesia ialah total investasi dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%, sedangkan pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan. Sementara itu, tingkat upah tenaga kerja pada sektor swasta dan tingkat inflasi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kesempatan kerja di Indonesia.

Abstrak
In some occasion, organizational structure restricted individual learning. At the level of group, organizational structure has been affecting the group ability for learning. Learning organization can be defined as the ability of organization to advance its capacity creating its future. The concept of learning organization which is common in private sector is also applicable to the public factor. Organization can not learn, only individual that learns. To ovesrcome the inhibition of the formal structure, team usually informal communication channel.

Abstrak
Kantor cabang Tanjung Morawa yang berkedudukan di ibukota kecamatan Tanjung Morawa Kabupaten Deli Serdang Propinsi Sumatera Utara yang merupakan Kantor Cabang PT Jamsostek (Persero) wilayah operasional yaitu : sebahagian kecil kota Medan, sebahagian Deli Serdang dan Kotamadya Tebing Tinggi, ketiga wilayah tersebut adalah merupakan rangkaian wilayah kerja yang terkoordinasi dengan berpusatkan di kota Tanjung Morawa. Visi Jamsostek adalaj menjadi lembaga penyelenggaraan jaminan sosial tenaga kerja yang terpercaya dengan mengutamakan pelayanan prima dan manfaat optimal bagi seluruh peserta. Misi Jamsostek adalah meningkatkan dan mengembangkan mutu pelayanan dan manfaat kepada peserta berdasarkan prinsip profesionalisme. Meningkatkan jumlah kepesertaan program Jaminan Sosial Tenaga Kerja meningkatkan budaya kerja melalui kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dan penerapan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) mengelola dana peserta secara optimal dengan mengutamakan prinsip kehati-hatian (prudent) meningkatkan Corporate Values dan Corporate Images.

ANALISIS PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN INDUSTRI PERBANKAN

Abstrak
The purpose of this study was to analysis the financial management of the banking industry and its impact on monetary stability in Indonesia. Financial management of the banking industry in this study assumed by the researcher can be determined by several variables such as the variable of total deposits (DEP), total loans (KRD), the interest rates of time deposits (SBD), mortgage interest rates (SBK), and total statutory minimum (GWM). While monetary stability is assumed by the researcher can be determined by several variables such as the amount of currency (JUB), interest rates of certificates of Bank Indonesia (SBI), the rate of inflation (INF), foreign exchange (KURS), and interest rates of money market securities (SBPU).
The results of this research note that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) greatly affect the stability of the financial system and monetary stability. And the influence of exchange rate USD (exchange rate USD) looks very significant in determining the level of inflation volatility. Meanwhile, other variables have an influence, but all the effects are inelastic. However, all observed variables are crucial to the stability of the financial system and monetary stability. Furthermore, researcher conducted a simulation of the two monetary instruments, namely SBI and the reserve requirement. The decline in interest rates of SBI was found to affect the performance of the banking industry and monetary stability, the results are the inflation rate (INF) has decreased and the Rupiah is appreciated (KURS). GWM decline was greatly affects the performance of the banking industry and the influence of monetary stability, the results are the inflation rate (INF) rises and the Rupiah is depreciated (KURS).

PERANAN JALUR SUKU BUNGA DALAM MEKANISME TRANSMISI

Abstrak
This study used Vector Auto regression (VAR) model to analyze effectiveness of monetarypolicy transmission mechanism in Indonesia through Interest rate Channel period of 1990:2-2007:1. The effectiveness was measured by two indicators. They are: (1). How fast or how many time lagneeded since the shock of monetary instruments (rSBI) until the realization of final target of monetary policy (inflation). (2). How strong the variables of Interest Rate Channel response the shock of SBI interest rate and other variable. This study used secondary data issued by Bank Indonesia and BPS as well as from International Finance Statistic (IFS). The resultof the study shows that response velocity of variable in Interest Rate Channel towards shock instrument of monetary policy (rSBI) until reach the final target about 10 quarterly or twenty six months. While impulse response function of variables in this channel to the shock instrument of monetary policy (rSBI) is quiet strong and the main variable in interest rate money market among bank (rPUAB) able to explain diversity final target of monetary policy (inflation) about 63,11%. This result once shows a strong Granger causality and predictive power between rPUAB as the operational target with inflation as the final target of monetary policy. Thus we can conclude that mechanism of monetary policy transmission through Interest Rate Channel is effective to reach the final target of monetary policy of Indonesia period of 1990:2-2007:1

Abstrak
The purpose of the research is to examine the influence of the profitability which is consists of the Return On Equity (ROE) and Net Profit Margin (NPM), and investment Oppurtunity Set (IOS) which is consists of Market to Book Value of Assets (MVA/BVA), dan Property, Plant & Equipment to the Book Value of Assets (PPE/BVA) to Cash Dividen in Go Public Company as listing at Indonesia Stock Exchange. The result of research indicate that the profitability which is consists of the Return On Equity (ROE) and Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Investment Oppurtunity Set (IOS) which is consists of Market to Book Value of Assets (MVA/BVA), and Property, Plant & Equipment to the Book Value of Assets (PPE/BVA) are together have significant effect toward Cash Dividend. The Rrsult also indicates Company as listing at Indonesia Stock Exchange, while Market to Book Value of Assets (MVA/BVA), and Property, Plant & Equipment to the Book Value of Assets (PPE/BVA) have negative but not significant effect toward dividend cash.

Abstrak
This thesis attempts the factors that influence the demand of productive of credit in North Sumatera. Those variable are economic growth, exchange rate, loan interest rate and the economic stabilization. We use 25 years at time series data, ranging from 1980 to 2004. This research use econometrics approach, specifically using autoregressive model in order to look the past period behavior in influencing the demand of productive credit. The result shows that exchange rate, economic growth and the economic climate influence significantly to the demand of productive credit in North Sumatera. However, loan interest rate is not significantly in influencing the credit. That findings could be as an input neither for the monetary autority of Indonesia in conducts monetary policy nor for banking practitioner in managing their own business.
