HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP DENGAN TINDAKAN KEBERSIHAN ORGAN GENETALIA EKSTERNA SEBAGAI UPAYA PENCEGAHAN KEPUTIHAN PADA PENGHUNI  (WANITA) LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN KELAS II PADANGSIDIMPUAN TAHUN 2017

Abstract

The large number of residents of the Class II B Bureau of Padangsidimpuan who experience whiteness with a lack of knowledge on how to overcome the whiteness, this will affect the health of reproduction, whereby this whiteness can trigger infertility and cervical cancer is still a problem of women including residents Penitentiary. This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge and attitude with the act of hygiene of external genetic organ as an effort to prevent whiteness in residents of Class II B Padangsidimpuan In 2017. This type of research is descriptive analytics with a pseudo experimental design approach. The population of this study is all residents of Class II B Padangsidimpuan as many as 34 people. The samples were 34 people (total sampling). Then tested statistic with computer program using Chi-square Test with α = 0,05.The result of the research with bivariate analysis on post test shows that there is a correlation between knowledge with action about cleanliness of external genetal organ as effort of preventing leucorrhoea (p = 0,016) and attitude with action about cleanliness of external genetal organ as effort of preventing leucorrhoea with (p = 0,008). From the results in the can, it is recommended to residents of Class II B Padangsidimpuan, to more search for information and read a book about the cleanliness of external genetic organs so that it can motivate themselves to know more about reproductive health, especially the right genetic clearance of genetic organs externa, Vaginal discharge and the dangers that occur when one of the genetic organs is cleansed externally.
